Frequently Asked Questions
- Is IHS coverage available? What about Medicaid or Medicare?
- IHS-covered rides may be available for eligible patients. We are pursuing AHCCCS enrollment, so Medicaid/AHCCCS is not currently accepted until enrollment and approval are complete. Medicare is also not currently accepted. Call us to confirm IHS eligibility or discuss VA, private-pay, or other active options before scheduling.
- How far in advance do I need to schedule?
- We ask for at least 48 hours notice whenever possible. That said, we understand that appointments come up quickly — call us and we will always do our best to accommodate same-day or next-day requests.
- Who do you serve?
- We primarily serve patients in the Navajo Nation and surrounding Four Corners communities across Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado.
- Can I schedule a recurring trip, like for weekly dialysis?
- Absolutely — and this is one of our most common services. We set up recurring schedules for dialysis patients and others with regular appointments so you do not have to call every time.
- Is there a cost to me?
- We confirm the payer and any authorization before scheduling. Eligible IHS- or VA-authorized rides may have no out-of-pocket cost. AHCCCS enrollment is in progress, so we do not currently accept Medicaid/AHCCCS, and Medicare is not currently accepted. For trips without an active payer authorization, self-pay options are available — contact us to discuss rates.
