Frequently Asked Questions
- Does Medicaid or IHS cover my ride?
- In most cases, yes. Medicaid and the Indian Health Service (IHS) both cover non-urgent medical transportation to covered medical appointments. We work directly with these programs to verify your eligibility and handle the billing — you typically pay nothing out of pocket.
- How far in advance do I need to schedule?
- We ask for at least 48 hours notice whenever possible. That said, we understand that appointments come up quickly — call us and we will always do our best to accommodate same-day or next-day requests.
- Who do you serve?
- We primarily serve patients in the Navajo Nation and surrounding Four Corners communities across Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado.
- Can I schedule a recurring trip, like for weekly dialysis?
- Absolutely — and this is one of our most common services. We set up recurring schedules for dialysis patients and others with regular appointments so you do not have to call every time.
- Is there a cost to me?
- For patients covered by Medicaid, IHS, or Medicare, there is typically no out-of-pocket cost for eligible trips. For patients without coverage, we offer self-pay options — contact us to discuss rates.
